The filler neck is designed to filter the working fluid before it enters the hydraulic tank. The device is equipped with a mesh filter. As a rule, it is combined into a single unit with a breather, which simplifies operation and reduces the cost of the hydraulic tank design.
The breather filter is a special device that is installed in the upper part of the hydraulic tank and is designed to purify the air from ingress of mechanical microparticles.
Thus, the filler neck with a breather filter effectively cleans the oil entering the hydraulic system. In case of contamination, replaceable filter elements are removed from the filter and replaced with new ones.

The neck is mounted on the lid of the hydraulic tank using bolts. There is a standard and angular design. Also on some filler necks there is a possibility of sealing.
